Terms of Use
These terms define the legal framework d’utilisation du service ITYLOS.
Using the ITYLOS service implies full acceptance of these terms of use. If you do not accept these terms, you must not use the service.
Service description
ITYLOS is a service that allows temporarily transmitting sensitive information (passwords, keys, files) via a time-limited secure ephemeral link.
ITYLOS acts as an encrypted transmission vector and not as a permanent storage service or archiving vault.
Evanescence Protocol & Limits
Ephemeral capsules are automatically deleted from servers after the first access or upon expiration of the delay defined during their creation. This deletion prevents any recovery from the ITYLOS infrastructure side.
Inherent technical limitations
Once the capsule is deleted from our servers, recovery is technically impossible. However, ITYLOS cannot prevent a screenshot, manual copy, or any other recording made by the recipient once the secret is displayed on their device.
The Forge (Generator)
The "Cryptographic Forge" tool provided on the platform is a entropy generator operating strictly client-side.
Entropy generation uses your browser's cryptographic API (Web Crypto API). ITYLOS does not collect, transmit or save any passwords or keys generated by this tool.
User responsibilities
Since encryption is performed locally client-side (Zero-Knowledge), ITYLOS has no way to moderate or know the content of transmitted capsules.
The user is therefore solely responsible :
- Content transmitted via the platform.
- Compliance with applicable laws in their jurisdiction.
- The security and management of the generated link distribution.
- The security of their computing environment (workstation, browser, local network).
Utilisations strictement interdites
Il est formellement interdit d’utiliser l'infrastructure ITYLOS pour :
- Transmitting illegal, child exploitation or terrorist content.
- Distribuer des logiciels malveillants, virus ou ransomwares.
- Conducting phishing, spam or harassment campaigns.
- Distributing confidential data obtained illegally (data leaks).
In case of manifest abuse or malicious link reporting, ITYLOS reserves the right to block access to a capsule.
Limitation of liability
The ITYLOS service is provided "as is" without warranty of permanent availability or performance (SLA).
The service publisher cannot under no circumstances be held responsible :
- Misuse of the service by the sender.
- Link interception due to an unsecured communication channel chosen by the user.
- Copying or theft of the secret by the final recipient.
- Unauthorized access resulting from hardware compromise of the user's device (e.g., malware, keylogger).
- Data loss resulting from the normal expiration or destruction of the capsule.
Intellectual Property & Suspension
Intellectual property
La marque Kachouri®, la marque ITYLOS, its logo, visual identity (UI/UX), domain name, and editorial texts are protected by intellectual property laws. Any use of the ITYLOS brand without written authorization is strictly prohibited.
Service suspension or modification
The publisher reserves the right to modify, update or suspend the service temporarily or permanently, at any time, for security, maintenance or force majeure reasons, particularly in case of manifest abuse of the service, without notice or compensation.
Applicable law & Contact
Competent jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Swiss law.
Any dispute relating to the use of the ITYLOS service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of the Canton of Geneva.
